STEM Discovery Campaign 2026!

 We are delighted to share that our eTwinning project "The Mystery of the Mathematical Treasure" has successfully participated in the STEM Discovery Campaign 2026!

From February to April 2026, students embarked on an exciting mathematical adventure, solving challenges, exploring mathematical concepts, and collaborating with international partners to uncover the hidden treasure. Through engaging STEM activities, the use of digital tools, teamwork, and problem-solving tasks, students developed their mathematical thinking, creativity, critical thinking, and digital skills.

The project transformed mathematics into an enjoyable journey of discovery, encouraging students to learn through exploration, collaboration, and the application of knowledge to real-life situations. Participation in the STEM Discovery Campaign 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to promote innovative STEM education and disseminate good practices within the eTwinning community.

Mysteries of Mathematics – Educational Guide for Developing Mathematical Skills and Logical Thinking in Primary Education

Within the educational project “Mysteries of Mathematics,” the publication “Mysteries of Mathematics – Educational Guide for Developing Mathematical Skills and Logical Thinking in Primary Education” was created. This work was assigned the ISBN code 978-973-0-44185-7 by the National Library of Romania. This publication represents the result of a successful educational collaboration, bringing together dedicated and creative teachers committed to developing mathematical competencies and logical thinking among primary school pupils.Through the activities, methods, and resources presented, the work promotes active learning, discovery-based approaches, educational games, and interdisciplinary methods, contributing to making mathematics an engaging and accessible experience for children. The book serves as a valuable guide of good educational practices, offering examples of activities, teaching strategies, and innovative resources designed to stimulate pupils’ curiosity, creativity, and logical reasoning. At the same time, the publication reflects the involvement and professionalism of the 26 participating teachers from three countries – Romania, Turkey, and Poland – as well as the importance of collaboration and experience-sharing in developing modern, high-quality education. Through the jointly developed activities and resources, teachers and their students have demonstrated that mathematics can become an attractive, creative, and accessible educational adventure for all.

The deadline for applications for the 2026 eTwinning Türkiye Special Awards for Quality Labels is Wednesday, 01.07.2026, at 23:59 Applications submitted after the deadline will be included in the 2027 evaluation process.

The results of the Quality Label evaluation are planned to be announced during September–October 2026.

Project of the Month – April 2026

         The projects were presented in April in the group “Digital Competences for Students and Teachers (including Artificial Intelligence and SELFIE tools)” on the page “eTwinning Project Ideas 2026”. This eTwinning group focuses on improving the digital competences of students and teachers, with a special emphasis on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and the SELFIE framework into the educational process.

✨ Mathematical Mystery Workshop ✨✨

It was created at the very beginning of the project as a dedicated space for teachers, where they collaborate to design engaging educational resources.

One hundred years later, teachers took on the mission of Professor Numeronius, because the educational resources created for students turn every lesson into an adventure and every problem into a mystery to solve. The teachers’ task was clear:
“Create engaging mathematical resources (puzzles, games, challenges) that can be integrated into missions, helping students discover and unlock the secrets of the Treasure of Logical Thinking.”

To make the project easy to integrate into the curricula of the three countries and to ensure participation of all students aged 6 to 12, the teachers established a flexible structure adapted to different learning levels.

🔑 Mission 5: The Treasure of Problems and Logical Thinking – The Final Challenge!

This final mission represents the ultimate challenge, where students use all the skills they have developed to solve complex problems and engage in logical thinking tasks. It is the culminating moment of discovering the “treasure,” where reasoning, strategy, and perseverance are essential for success.Students work in teams, divided into 12 groups, each following its own final challenge path organized into 5 levels. Each level includes 3 tasks in the form of exercises and problems. At the end of each path, the teams discover a letter, which they manually create from recycled materials (newspapers). These letters are then integrated into the final word of the mission.
