๐Ÿ”‘ Mission 5: The Treasure of Problems and Logical Thinking – The Final Challenge!

This final mission represents the ultimate challenge, where students use all the skills they have developed to solve complex problems and engage in logical thinking tasks. It is the culminating moment of discovering the “treasure,” where reasoning, strategy, and perseverance are essential for success.Students work in teams, divided into 12 groups, each following its own final challenge path organized into 5 levels. Each level includes 3 tasks in the form of exercises and problems. At the end of each path, the teams discover a letter, which they manually create from recycled materials (newspapers). These letters are then integrated into the final word of the mission.

๐Ÿ”Ž The final challenge question is:

“What is the treasure of logical thinking?”

On the occasion of eTwinning Day 2026, our students embark on a mathematical adventure full of discoveries to reveal the secret message: “eTwinning Day 2026”! ✨

Working in 2 international groups, children explore the fascinating world of mathematics by decorating letters using geometric shapes, creative patterns, and symbolic colors, collaborating with partners from different countries to build together the “mathematical treasure.” ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿค

๐ŸŽจ The final results will include:
๐Ÿ”ข two fully decorated messages
๐Ÿ“ the representation of geometric shapes and mathematical concepts
๐Ÿ’ก the integration of the project theme “The Mystery of the Mathematical Treasure”
๐Ÿ–ผ️ collective posters published on TwinBoard
๐ŸŽฅ a short video showcasing the teamwork process and final creations

Through this activity, students develop logical thinking, creativity, and international collaboration skills, turning mathematics into a fun, artistic, and memorable experience! ✨

eTwinning means more than projects – it means connections, friendships, and unforgettable experiences!

The digital library of the project „The Mystery of the Mathematical Treasure”

Final Digital Library: The Mystery of the Mathematical Treasure – Project Journey

The digital library of the eTwinning project “The Mystery of the Mathematical Treasure” brings together all stages of students’ international mathematical adventure.

Each digital book represents a mission, a challenge, and a meaningful learning experience based on exploration, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.

The collection highlights students’ progress in mathematical thinking, digital skills, communication, teamwork, and creativity. Through interactive activities and international cooperation, students discovered that mathematics can become an exciting journey full of curiosity, challenges, and discoveries.

๐Ÿ“š Book 1: ๐Ÿ”‘ Mission 1: Discover the Beginning of the Adventure!

This digital book presents the first stage of the mathematical adventure within the eTwinning project “The Mystery of the Mathematical Treasure”. Mission 1 represented the initiation phase, where students discovered the project story, met their international partners, and explored the first clues needed to continue the search for the treasure.

Through presentation activities, communication tasks, and collaborative challenges between partner schools, students began to build connections, exchange ideas, and experience the joy of learning together in an international environment.

Inspired by Professor Numeronius’ challenge – “Challenge your students! Create engaging educational resources that spark curiosity and transform mathematics learning into an adventure of discovery!” – teachers created interactive mathematical resources and challenges within the Mathematical Mysteries Workshop 4.2.

These resources helped students unlock the first secrets of the Treasure of Logical Thinking and prepared them for the next stages of their mathematical journey.

๐Ÿ“š Book 2: ๐Ÿ”‘ Mission 2: The Magic Operations – Addition and Subtraction!

This digital book presents the activities developed during Mission 2, focused on exploring addition and subtraction through engaging mathematical challenges.

The activities were adapted to different age groups: the Red Group (6–9 years old) worked with addition and subtraction operations using numbers from 0 to 20, while the Blue Group (9–12 years old) solved more complex challenges involving numbers up to 10,000.

To support collaboration and successful completion of the tasks, two different discussion forums were created (Red and Blue), allowing students to exchange ideas, share solutions, and work together according to their learning level.

Following Professor Numeronius’ challenge, teachers created attractive mathematical resources within the Mathematical Mysteries Workshop 4.2, providing students with opportunities to practise calculation strategies, develop logical thinking, and unlock new secrets of the Treasure of Logical Thinking.

๐Ÿ“š Book 3: ๐Ÿ”‘ Mission 3: The Magic Operations – Multiplication and Division!

This digital book presents the activities through which students explored multiplication and division using creative mathematical challenges and international collaboration.

Mission 3 included two types of challenges: the Team Challenge and the Student Challenge, both designed to encourage cooperation and knowledge exchange between partner schools.

The Team Challenge was created by each group of teachers and students and then shared with another international team. The Student Challenge encouraged direct interaction between students from different countries, as one student created and sent a mathematical challenge to another student abroad.

Through these activities, students practised multiplication and division, developed flexible thinking, improved communication skills, and learned from their international peers.

Within the Mathematical Mysteries Workshop 4.2, teachers created engaging mathematical resources that supported students in discovering and unlocking new parts of the Treasure of Logical Thinking.

๐Ÿ“š Book 4: ๐Ÿ”‘ Mission 4: Detective in the World of Shapes – Tangram!

This digital book presents students’ exploration of geometric shapes through the Tangram game. During Mission 4, students worked in 8 international teams, each consisting of three members (with two teams having four members).

Each team completed Tangram activities that encouraged spatial thinking, creativity, concentration, and problem-solving skills.

Students reconstructed five given Tangram models, respecting their shape and orientation:

๐Ÿ”ด 75 – Cat
๐Ÿ”ด 76 – Swan
๐Ÿ”ด 77 – Dove
๐Ÿ”ด 78 – Fish
๐Ÿ”ด 79 – Camel

In the final stage, students created their own creative Tangram design (80), freely choosing a shape and using their imagination and creativity.

Inspired by Professor Numeronius’ challenge – “Use Tangram as a tool for exploration and create engaging mathematical resources that develop spatial thinking and imagination!” – teachers designed interactive resources within the Mathematical Mysteries Workshop 4.2.

Through this mission, students discovered that geometry can become an exciting adventure of creativity and mathematical discovery.

๐Ÿ“š Book 5: ๐Ÿ”‘ Mission 5: The Treasure of Problems and Logical Thinking – The Final Challenge!

This digital book represents the final stage of the mathematical adventure and brings together students’ problem-solving experiences, logical challenges, and creative solutions.

During Mission 5, 12 international teams, consisting of 2–3 members, followed a mathematical path made of problems and exercises. Each team solved an assigned challenge and received a letter as a reward.

The collected letters formed the hidden message of the Treasure of Logical Thinking. By successfully completing all tasks, students discovered the final secret and completed their mathematical journey.

Following Professor Numeronius’ challenge – “Guide your students towards discovery! Create engaging educational resources that transform problem-solving into an adventure of logical thinking!” – teachers developed final challenges within the Mathematical Mysteries Workshop 4.2.

This mission demonstrated students’ ability to apply mathematical knowledge, collaborate internationally, think critically, and find creative solutions.
